THE POINT

 

Ok, so we know there's a nerd who likes to drink beer, so why does he have a blog? Besides serving as a creative outlet, SlurredNerd has made it his goal to help others embrace their passions, and does so by critiqing, providing feedback, and promoting their works of art. It started as simple tweets on twitter, but after reviewing several pieces, he decided to do more for them as his time allows. Hence, the blog.

 

If you have any work of art, whether it's comics, books, films, music, or illustrations, he will gladly review it, provide you with feedback, and promote it. You can send digital copies or links to slurrednerd@mail.com

 

 

THE NERD

 

SlurredNerd is Chris Koehne, a beer guzzling nerd who loves comics, tv, movies, and games. In the past several years he has lived or worked in six different states within the USA. During this time he's been able to meet lots of different people which helped him to embrace his inner-nerd in a way he never had before, and has chosen to encourage others to do the same.

 

SlurredNerd has since settled down within the northern US, in an area as cold as Castle Black, with his spear-wife. There he works as an instructional designer and facilitator. His other passions involve music, having played in bands for just under ten years, and now continues to write for himself. He's also an avid reader, and has assisted independant authors by proofreading and critiquing. Though he sometimes likes to write, he's a much bigger fan of the creative process than actually writing down the words.
